Spring Crochet Skirt in a Striking Blue Hue

Zara Top, BB Dakota Skirt, Henri Bendel Bag, Mango Boots, Quay Australia Sunglasses

I apologize for my major lack of outfit posts lately. March was a snooze fest for me, but now that Spring is allegedly here, I will be better at showcasing my looks on the blog more. I love to bring out an oldie but goodie piece for nostalgia’s sake. What is it about this skirt that screams “90’s, can you come back??” Although crochet was a major hit in the 70s, the 90s brought striking colors to the knit. Think “Clarissa Explains it All”. Oh, how I loved that show. I remember my mom had this really cool 90’s colorful crochet top that was see through back in the day. I wanted to steal it so bad, however I believe my teenage self borrowed it with the hopes that she’ll let me have it. Crochet is like a sister to lace, however this interlocking knit is more on the bohemian side. At least that’s how I see it. I kept the 90’s vibe alive and well in this ensemble by adding a striped cotton, off-the-shoulder top from Zara and my Mango combat boots. Throwing in my cobalt blue bag from Henri Bendel was the perfect coordinating touch. Cause you know, you have to cooordinatteee.
