You never know what really works together until you try it. This theory applies with people as well as things. In this case, I’m talking about a petal pink shade paired with olive hues. I love to see how two colors can create a powerful contrast – it’s like organic bonding. Recently, I heard the song “It Takes Two” by Rob Base and I asked myself in a joking manner, does it really take two to make a thing go right? We can always join forces with one another and push boundaries, but I must say there is nothing wrong with a solitary movement. Ha!
In addition to the solitary movement talk, I’ve been doing things solo dolo lately. Experiencing things by myself and not being afraid to walk into a room or event knowing I’m not meeting one of my girlfriends or a group of friends to save my awkward feelings. I think it really takes confidence and experience to get to that point. A friend of mine recently brought up how the value increases when you are alone. It’s amazing what we can discover when our senses are heightened because of the lack of distractions or trying to please others in our presence isn’t occurring. Would you agree?
