Flourish Your Hair With These Botanical Natural Products

I’m going to go off the record when I say this, but I have no clue what brand my stylist uses when washing and conditioning my hair. I’m ashamed – but I want to make sure my confession doesn’t leave this site; as it is only between me and you. I mean…I peak here and there, but I’m in no way particular as I was back in the day. Part of the reason I’m now deciding to focus on hair products and specifically ones that contain bursting botanicals is for my near-future hair journey I plan to embark. I’ve been natural for almost a decade, but you may have noticed I wear my hair straight with the help of scorching hot heat from hair dryers and flat irons. I prefer to wear my hair like this, but sometimes I wonder if I can handle the high maintenance of wearing the freedom of au natural and coily hair. My hair is probably a 4c (course and dry) and it is a LOT to manage, but I want to start a partial ‘fro life to really showcase what I have on this crown. It’s nothing like a head full of healthy ringlets or a flourishing afro that bedazzles any outfit. I picked a few hair products that seems to strongly support the healthy hair journey, so I mentioned them below. Maybe some of you are familiar and maybe some are new to you. I am open for any suggestions you guys would like to share. (image via tumblr)

True Nature Botanicals Shampoo $34.00 – This antioxidant rich shampoo nourishes, moisturizes and restores shine with its potent natural ingredients. It also helps reduce flaking.

BWC Rosemary Mint Tea Shampoo $8.41 – Any beauty line that avoids cruelty is already good in my book. BWC rosemary mint tea shampoo is 100% vegetarian that promotes a healthy scalp with pure organic essential oils.

Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo $10.99 – Laced with Dragon Fruit, Lychee Berry and Green Apple Extracts, this sulfate free shampoo promises to nourish and energize lifeless hair. 100% Pure Coconut Water hydrates and nourishes hair with vitamins and minerals.

Jane Carter Solution Hair Nourishing Cream $14.99 – A hair styling cream that works on wet hair or dry hair for flat ironing. It works as a daily moisturizer and has ingredients such as grapefruit, shea butter, bergamot, and vitamin E.

TreLuxe Hi! Definition Curl Enhancer Styling Gel $17 – A styling product that provides long lasting curl definition, brilliant shine, and moisture balance.

Amla & Olive Heavy Cream $30 – From the details of this product, it sounds like a magic cream. A perfect all-in-one for moisturizing and softening afro’s, coils, curls, pony puffs, two strand twists, braids, cornrows, fades, chemical and color processes, softening new growth and restoring softness and elasticity to dry brittle ends.

Carol Daughter’s Monoi Invincible Hair Set $74 $59.20 – A hair set that includes a hair mask is geared towards damaged, breakage, and over-processed hair to help repair and grow hair 13x longer.

Fancy Free Pomade for Hair & Skin $18 – Fancy Free Pomade takes shea butter to the next level. It is whipped with organic jojoba, olive, and coconut oils until fluffy and light. Each product is handmade and smells divine. It is great for skin and hair and is easy to work with compared to raw shea butter. Use it as body butter AND on your hair as a conditioning treatment or styling product.
