Vacations are much needed. I just got back from New Orleans for a friend’s birthday and prior to going, I made a list of things to do and eat. My first full day was pretty chill. I wore this little flirty outfit during the day, but the heels didn’t last too long, and I’m sure you can understand that. I loved my look because it reminded me of something from a page of a salsa magazine. Is that even a thing? I looked like I could bust out the cha cha dance in any given second. I took an opportunity after brunch to snap some photos in the dreadful heat. Boy was New Orleans HOT and STEAMY, but I really enjoyed myself. We ate at Morrows for brunch – I had the red fish with crab meat on top with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. I wouldn’t say it was mouth watering, but it did the job. Afterwards, we hung out in the French Market area and did some drinking and site seeing. One of the things I enjoyed in New Orleans was all of the live music and the sporadic wedding ceremonies (more like a celebration) that you would see marching down the street. I had told myself before visiting that i want to have my wedding in NOLA, but now it’s official!
Overall, I had a pleasant time in New Orleans. I can’t wait to visit again!
