Can we take a moment to appreciate Pinterest and all of its endless ideas? This drink recipe is really a no-brainer. Even the non-bartender can make this concoction extra delicious. If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may be familiar with my cocktail curiosity and how once I find something so good, I can’t help but to share with you lovelies. This drink is called a whiskey lemonade. It’s ideal for those who may not care for the strong taste of liquor but with a chaser that’s a bit sour and sweet, it’s like the best drink you’ve had all month. Am I right? That’s how I am with most dark liquor. I made these drinks with Bulleit Rye Whiskey and Santa Cruz Organic Lemonade from MOM’s Market. I put 3 pieces of ice in each glass and poured about 1 oz of whiskey (maybe equivalent to a shot glass) at the bottom, proceeded to fill the lemonade to the middle, and then topped it off with a tad bit more whiskey. You can add a honey stick at the bottom to add more sweetness while you stir. Just make sure to snip the end off..lol.
