You’re probably tired of hearing about the promises of certain attire taking you from day to night just as much as you are tired of seeing this bag, but let’s face it – we love convenience. Some pieces just aren’t cut out for the doable work to happy hour transition, but I am here to tell you that Emploi dresses makes it uber possible. Based out of New York, Marina Ufaeva (formerly a lawyer) launched a line of perfectly fitted dresses that are comfortable, affordable, and stylish. A bonus is not only are these dresses ideal for that corner office or an evening date, it works for brunch, church, going out to a night club and so on and so on. I’d like to call them the all-purpose dresses. I was able to choose a style from her Spring Resort collection and while it was hard to chose just one, my eyes instantly shifted to this beautiful, color splash dress called the Belviedere. When it came, I fell in love with the print but especially the fit. So perfect.
Being a hippy-shaped girl with thighs to spare, I was afraid it would be too snug in that area. Fortunately, it slid right on and I had just enough room to show my shape without it being too tight. It’s so hard hard to find dresses, that are not body-con style, to fit just right for curvy women. Another great thing is the wrinkle free material the line uses. Surprisingly, I wore this in NY for fashion week, but didn’t get good pictures, so I took it out of my bag to wear over the weekend and didn’t even have to iron it again. Wow.
So enough about how much I love her dresses, I was able to get a sneak peak of her Fall collection and can’t wait to give you guys a glimpse along with a giveaway. Stay tuned this week for the giveaway of one of Emploi’s fab dresses. Can’t wait to share!
