Beauty Report: DIY Face Mists with Rose Water

facemists

A great pick me up for our skin is a facial mist with natural and nourishing ingredients. Shopping for face sprays at beauty stores can be pricey and sometimes risky, so I thought to experiment with a couple that I felt would be good for my skin. My first two face mists below are:

Coconut Splash Face Mist:

  • Coconut water
  • Jojoba oil
  • Aloe vera juice

Peppermint & Rose Water Face Mist:

Both sprays smell fantastic and they also give a nice glow. The essential oils are moisturizing as well. You can substitute your oil for whatever you prefer. Vitamin E and Almond oils are also good ones to experiment with when making a face spray. If you don’t feel comfortable using these on your face, you can try it on your body. Either way, you won’t be disappointed. My only issue was finding clear, small bottles. DJM but I bought body sprays and washed them out over night to reuse. For the next time, I will order some online. These and these seem to be good ones.

Benefits of using facial mists:

  • Setting Makeup
  • Calming skin
  • Hydrating skin
  • Replenishing skin
  • Adding radiance
  • Irritation

They can take you from looking tired and lackluster to bright and dewy in seconds. (From Fashionista.com)
