There’s a science to this baby. When layering, you don’t want to necessarily look like a rundown hobo (unless that’s the look you’re going for), but moreseo a puzzle that has been strategically put together. The pieces have to make sense in order for it to work. For example, if you plan to wear a collared denim shirt under a cable knit sweater, try to make sure the undershirt is a longer length (at least 2-3 in) to show different heights in your layered outfit. You can also rock a silk dress under a blazer with skinnies for a sophisticated glam look or a vest under an oversized coat. The sky really is the limit when layering for winter.
